untemplater

This is for the professional who drags herself out of bed every morning to go to an unfulfilling job…

This is for the undergraduate who can’t decide on a major or career path, and has no idea how to live happily…

This is for the family who wants to break free of the routine life but has no idea where to start…

If you want to take control of your life, work where you want, live how you want, and be who you want to be, then this is for you.

I present to you: Untemplater

My posts on Untemplater will focus on how I built an internet company with barely any capital.  You can see the first post in my series here: Become a Young Entrepreneur Series Introduction.

The team and I have written a Manifesto that I am honestly very proud of and know that you will thoroughly enjoy.  You can download the Manifesto here: Untemplater Manifesto.

We are launching some great giveaways in the following weeks!  You can follow us at http://twitter.com/untemplater to get all the updates on how to enter to win our great prizes!

Your feedback is more than welcome and always appreciated!  Thank you so much for joining us on this journey and I look forward to seeing you on the site  :)

Jun – Do you think Gen Y is more restless and impatient? With the speed of technology, it seems like it’s an attitude of “I want it, and I want it now” without putting in the time.

Why create Untemplar, when you can write about it all here on this site, or get others to contribute to your site with similar topics?

Not being critical, just trying to understand the thought process.

Best, Sam

Sam, great question. My answers:

1. JunLoayza.com will become more of a personal site than a tutorial site. I feel there are a lot of topics I want to personally talk about, and I want another site to talk about entrepreneurship

2. The fact that I’m teaming up with a lot of awesome bloggers

The team has done well individually, and we hope to perform exceptionally as a team.

3. It’s hard to get people to contribute to JunLoayza.com

It’s not impossible, and there have been contributors. However, it’s easier for people to get behind an idea, Untemplater, than a personal name that is still relatively unknown.

See you soon

Cool Jun. I think you’ll be surprised about people wanting to guest post for your blog. Seems like you have a good following, and there’s no dearth of people woho’d like to show case their writing skills!

Sounds like a fun project for sure.

I just came across your blog in the Business Pundit’s list of “The 75 Best Business Blogs of 2009″ and am intrigued. Although I’m a member of Gen X, I wish I would have come across something like this years ago. It took me some time to realize that an individual really only needs passion and persistence to succeed and not necessarily a large bank roll and original idea. I will be interested to read more of this blog as well as your business venture in Untemplater!

Hi Jun – Thanks for the response! I’m actually in the process of building a consulting business on Cape Cod. We work with Cape Cod based businesses and advise them on various aspects of their business – everything from operations to social media. We basically alleviate pain points and help our clients improve and grow their business. Your writing seems to capture the essence of what we’re about and I look forward to reading more!
