I’m not sure if Tara will see this-

Tara-can you remember the times when you felt most happy, confident, secure?
What about those times are similar? How can you use this knowledge to spread that value to others?

Hi Jun,
I came across your blog a few days back and have enjoyed reading all the posts I’ve read so far. It’s very inspirational to see someone else like you make it.

I’d been thinking of writing to you to ask for pointers for people who just don’t have “it”!Like, everyone cannot start up a company, and everyone cannot get their dream job. What about those mediocre ones?

In your case, you at least know that you are real hard-working and you are analytical and business minded. What if you want to do business, you want to work hard but just don’t have the analytical brains for it?

Like me! I was very smart academically and performed well overall. Over the years of meeting people smarter and more successful, I’ve lost my confidence. I assume you feel it too sometimes. how do you deal with those situations?

would love to know about your take on this.

Hey Sol, I must admit that sometimes I do have my periods where I’m tired of no work and life balance. However, I am an emotional guy, and these are the times when the company is at a standstill.

My A-type personality means I’m only happy when I’m constantly doing things and progressing in life. So my”talent,” is pretty much my ability to work feverishly without stop until I see results.

I’m actually starting a business with my gf who has a very relaxed and chill personality. We’ll see how that goes…

I wouldn’t have guessed that you of all people sometimes fall into moments of despair. That’s pretty encouraging to me.

The biggest irony of this post is when you said “if only I was more charismatic.” What?! You’ve got to be the most charismatic person I’ve ever met. Seriously. When you need motivation, you look in the mirror. When I need motivation, I read your blog, haha.

I think you are also persuasive and have good oratory skills- being persuasive and getting people to like you is an invaluable skill. I’m sure it will help you get funded and get tons of free intern work down the road

Besides, good looking people don’t need talents. Just marry rich lol
