You asked the question "Would I be more productive if I didn’t have a girlfriend?" and you answered, "Most likely." I think this is arguable. Having good friends, a girlfriend, and "leisure time," can make your "work time" much more productive and valuable. Certainly, I could work 20 hours a day, but only the first 10 or so would I be operating at my peak productivity (and 10 is a stretch). With little breaks and distractions, I feel much more creative and, though it's impossible to measure this, I am certain I get more done than without them. Hrmm, a fascinating take.
